TK Maxx returns are possible for items bought in store or online. The item should be unused and in a resalable condition, with all original tags and packaging attached. If any tags are missing or the item shows signs of wear, unfortunately you will lose any rights to a refund. However, if the item is faulty upon arrival it will still be returnable.
The TK Maxx returns policy is generous, as returns are allowed within 28 days of purchasing, either in store or online. This is much longer than the statutory 14 days recommended. There are a number of items which cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, this includes pierced jewellery, underwear and swimwear with hygiene strips removed. It is also worth noting that there is a separate TX Maxx returns policy for gift cards when they are purchased online.
TK Maxx returns offer a statutory right to cancel policy, if you are a personal customer. If you purchase goods online you have the right to cancel the contract and receive a full refund for all goods purchased, within 14 days from the delivery date. This includes all items except anything perishable, such as hampers or food items. Anything returned must be unused with all tags still attached. If the items do show signs of use or have the tags removed, the item will be considered second hand and the TK Maxx parcel returns team will deduct the value of the goods from the refund.
Any TX Maxx parcel returns do not affect your statutory rights, including your rights when returning faulty items.
TK Maxx do not offer an exchange service for items purchased online, as stated in the TK Maxx returns policy. If you need the same product but in a different colour or size you will need to return the original order and place a new one. The quickest way to do this is usually to return the item in store and use store credit to purchase the new item.
TK Maxx sell a range of pre-loved items which are not in new condition, so do have some signs of wear. If you change your mind on these items, you are still able to receive a refund within 28 days, as long as the item is in the same condition it was sold in. All tags should be attached and the original authenticity stickers and cards should be included with your return.
Return Your TK Maxx Parcel
TK Maxx parcel returns can be made either in store or via courier, and you will need your proof of purchase or dispatch note to be able to receive a refund. Any refund made can only be processed to the original debit or credit card used to make the purchase. If you no longer have access to this card you will be offered an exchange or gift voucher instead. If you made the original purchase by e-voucher you will receive a store credit note or a gift card to the value of the purchase.
If you would prefer to return your online purchase in store there are a few items which can only be returned by post. If the item is jewellery, it can only be returned to a store with a designated jewellery counter. If you need to check whether your local store has a specific jewellery counter, the TK Maxx customer service team will be happy to help. If you do not have a store locally to return your jewellery you will be able to receive a refund for the return postage from TK Maxx.
To receive a refund by post you will need to complete the returns form on your dispatch note and include it with the parcel. If you no longer have the dispatch note you can include a note with the following details: name, billing address, telephone number, the email address you use for your TK Maxx account, order number, description of the product and the reason for the return. You are entitled to return the item if you are not completely happy but you will need to include a reason, such as: faulty, incorrect, arrived too late, unwanted gift, unsuitable or doesn’t fit.
Once your parcel arrives into the TK Maxx warehouse your refund will be processed within 7 working days, although it could take up to 3 additional days for the refund to show in your account. TK Maxx will refund the cost of the item, but will not refund any postage costs for the return or for the original delivery, unless the item was delivered faulty and unusable.
