Stocking everything you could possibly need for every type of sporting activity, Sports Direct has become a firm favourite on the high street thanks to its extensive range and affordable prices. Whether you’re after the latest football kit, some new trainers, or some gym clothes, Sports Direct are bound to have something that suits your needs, which is why you should visit Parcel Delivery to find out more about them.

The company has come a long way since its humble beginnings back in Maidenhead in 1982, and now has over 700 stores spread across both the UK and Europe. During its history, Sports Direct has also acquired several household brands including Donnay, Lonsdale and Lillywhites. It has also grown to become the number one sports retailer in the UK, and with a store in pretty much every major town and city in the country, it’s hard to imagine today’s high street without Sports Direct.

With the advent of modern technology, Sports Direct has had to move along with the times in order to stay competitive and reach more customers. The company has always embraced the internet, and has even rebranded itself in certain territories on to emphasise the fact the business has a strong online presence. In fact, Sports Direct offer their entire range online, with everything from rugby boots to golf shirts and beyond, all available at the click of a button.

Thanks to the company shifting its focus to its website, Sports Direct has managed to grow its brand even further and does a significant amount of its business online. With strong online sales, there is always an interest in the Sports Direct returns policy as well as how long the company take to deliver items to your door. To help you to get an understanding of how the Sports Direct online store operates, we’ve taken a closer look at their policies.

There is a fairly standard Sports Direct returns policy in place regarding returns. For all Sports Direct returns you will be required to print the company’s returns form. The Sports Direct returns form is available online, and in order to have your refund processed, you will need to fill the form out completely and return it along with your goods and your invoice.

If you require a full refund as well as the original cost of the delivery, you will need to inform the Sports Direct parcel returns team within 14 days of receiving the order. You will then have 14 days to return the goods to Sports Direct after they have received notification from you of your intent to return the items. The company does not provide a free return service, so you will be responsible for returning the goods to the Sports Direct warehouse, as stated in the Sports Direct returns policy. The Sports Direct returns team state that they always aim to process the refund as quickly as possible, and will endeavour to have your refund processed within 14 days of the company receiving the returned items.

When it comes to Sports Direct parcel returns, you are under no obligation to return the items in their original packaging, however they will need to be in a resalable condition. If for some reason your goods are defective, Sports Direct will examine the goods upon their return to the warehouse. For defective items, you will get an email notification regarding your refund, and the refund will be processed as soon as possible. Usually all refunds are processed well within 30 days from the date you receive your notification email informing you that you are entitled to a refund.

All refunds will be made to you using the same method by which you paid for the goods originally. If for some reason Sports Direct are unable to refund you via your original payment method, then the company will send a cheque made out to you and addressed to the delivery address on your order.

Return Your Sports Direct Parcel

For Sports Direct parcel returns, you will be required to send your parcel to the company’s customer returns warehouse. The full address is available on the Sports Direct website and we recommend thoroughly checking the address before you send it.

Sports Direct recommend that once you have packaged the items up, along with the completed returns form and the invoice, that you send the items using a form of registered post. This will ensure you’re able to track it as it makes its way back to the warehouse, and it also means that you’ll be able to obtain proof of purchase should the items get lost. Sports Direct require you to also state clearly on the invoice not only the reason for returning the items, but whether you want a refund or exchange. For all exchanges, Sports Direct are only able to provide you with a like for like product.

If you have any items that you have personalised, for example a football shirt with a name printed on the back, you won’t be able to return your parcel.

Sports Direct Couriers

Sports Direct have a range of delivery options available, which you can pick from at the time of purchase. With the standard UK delivery option, Sports Direct will aim to have your order at your address within three to five working days. If you require your order to arrive sooner, then there is an express delivery option available for an additional fee. With express delivery, your order will arrive within one to two working days, providing you place your order before 7pm Sunday – Friday. For even quicker delivery, you can pick next day delivery, although you will have to place your order by 7pm the previous day. For next day delivery, you will not receive your item until Monday if you place your order on a Saturday.

If you would rather collect your item in store, Sports Direct offer a click and collect option, where you will be able to pick your order up from one of the many Sports Direct stores in the UK. This option usually takes between five and seven working days and you will receive an email confirming your item is ready for collection once it’s arrived at your chosen store.

For added convenience, you can get your item delivered to a Collect+ store. Orders placed with Collect+ delivery will take two working days to arrive at your chosen store, and with many Collect+ stores offering late opening hours, it could prove to be more convenient than having your order delivered to your home.

Tracking Your Sports Direct Order

No-matter what delivery method you choose with Sports Direct, you will be able to track your parcel as it makes its way from the Sports Direct depot to your chosen destination address. In order to track your items, you will need the unique tracking reference number which Sports Direct will email to you. Within the email, Sports Direct will also supply you with a link to their courier’s website, allowing you to enter the reference number and track your items.

It’s worth bearing in mind that a signature will be required upon delivery. If you are unavailable to collect your items, then the courier may choose to leave it in a safe place or with a neighbour. A card will be posted through your letterbox to let you know where your parcel is. In most areas, the Sports Direct couriers will carry out deliveries until 9pm.
