If you are looking for a specific date or timed delivery as your parcel is urgent, this starts from just £6. The quickest option is to order delivery for the same day – if you order by 12 noon you can have your parcel that very evening. The company is setting the standards for online shoppers by providing such fast delivery options.
On some of the larger items, such as furniture and kitchen appliances, House of Fraser suppliers will operate their own delivery processes. This is made clear on the individual product page before you place your order, but details will also be included in your confirmation email.
Return Your House Of Fraser Parcel
If you are not completely happy when your parcel arrives, the House of Fraser returns policy allows you to send an item back within 28 days of delivery. However, if the item is faulty you will have up to 30 days to return the items. If you would like to exchange an item, the House of Fraser returns team extends the possible return time to 35 days.
To arrange House of Fraser returns, you should ensure that it is returned in the same condition it arrives to you in, this includes any original packaging and labels. If the item is sent back to the warehouse damaged, House of Fraser has the right to reserve some of the refund as compensation for damages.
The maximum parcel size for return by post is 61cm x 46cm x 46cm with a maximum weight of 20kg. The parcel should be repackaged with the House of Fraser parcel returns form, which was located within the parcel upon delivery – this includes a returns code specific for your order. As part of the delivery note there is a pre-paid address label, this should be securely attached to the outside. You should always retain proof of postage as if the parcel does go missing on route to the warehouse, you will still receive your refund if you can prove you posted it. The company are not liable for any damages or losses which occur during the House of Fraser parcel returns process.
If the item you need to return is too large to send via Royal Mail, please contact House of Fraser who will arrange a courier collection for you. House of Fraser will be able to arrange a specific collection day, but will not be able to guarantee a time. The collection could happen anytime between 8am and 6pm.
There are a number of items which do not fall under the usual House of Fraser returns policy. The individual product pages on the House of Fraser website will include the specific returns information. The delivery note will also indicate the correct process to take if you miss the information on the website. Items with an alternative returns policy include: furniture, large kitchen appliances, wallpaper and paint, cosmetics, made-to-measure curtains, duvets, hosiery, lingerie, mattress protectors, mattresses, men’s underwear, fragrances, personal grooming products, pillows and swimwear.
The House of Fraser returns policy states that the company is able to deliver to countries within the EU, although they will be subject to additional card security checks. The deliveries are carried out Monday to Friday although specific times cannot currently be requested. There are no import or export duties to pay when House of Fraser sends to an EU country, although the purchase will have to comply with local legislation. It is worth noting that some manufacturers’ warranties and service options are not valid internationally – you should check this with the House of Fraser customer service team before placing an order.

House of Fraser pride themselves on working with couriers to deliver an excellent service. The company are known for setting very high standards in the world of online ordering, especially when it comes to speed and the wide variety of delivery options. If your delivery is late, lost, incorrect or damaged, they will do everything possible to resolve the issue promptly. This great customer service also extends to any House of Fraser returns you may have.
Where possible House of Fraser will try to give you accurate time slots for your delivery. For example, on large item deliveries you will receive a text message within 48 hours of the delivery date, with various time options.
Tracking Your House Of Fraser Order
Once you have placed your order you will be sent a dispatch email directly from the courier. The email will include a tracking number which you can use to follow the progress of your order on the courier’s website. If you have a House of Fraser account you will also be able to follow the progress in the ‘MY ORDERS’ area of the website. You will also be able to track the progress of your order when you have sent it back to the store for a refund or exchange.
Basic delivery is free on all orders over £50, but if you spend less this will cost £3.95. The parcel will take between 3 and 5 days between Monday to Saturday and will be delivered between 7.30 and 21.00. This timeframe does include delivery to the Scottish Highlands and any remote areas of the UK.
The other delivery options are nominated day, next day, next evening and same evening. For these services prices range from £6 to £8 and do not include certain UK items, the Scottish Highlands and Northern Ireland. For a same day delivery, the courier is only able to offer this service within the M25 and Birmingham. If you would like to check which delivery options are available in your area, the House of Fraser customer service department will be able to provide you with a list of postcodes which are included in each delivery option. The couriers are continually working with House of Fraser to try and increase the coverage and speed of the deliveries.
Delivery to Ireland and the Channel Islands is available via the standard delivery option and is free for orders over £50, all orders under this will be charged £3.95 for delivery.
There are exceptions to delivery timescales when large items such as furniture, large kitchen appliances and televisions are ordered. For a large item delivery, this will cost £30 for a standard service, this is free on orders over £1,500.
House of Fraser parcel returns are processed for refunds back to the original payment card within 2 weeks, but it can then take up to 14 further days for the bank to credit your account, although usually only takes between 3 and 5 days. If you have only returned part of an order, House of Fraser are unable to provide a refund for any delivery charges incurred when placing the original order.
If you are returning an item from outside of the UK, it is the customer’s responsibility to pay any delivery charges and taxes incurred as part of the process.
