Currys are the leading telecommunications and electronics retailer in the UK. With almost 300 superstores as well as 73 high street stores, Currys have become one of the most recognised names in retail. For customers who perhaps can’t reach one of the stores, or just want to place an order without the inconvenience of leaving the house, Currys’ entire range is available to purchase through their website.

Whether you require a kitchen appliance such as a washing machine, fridge or dishwasher, or you’re after a brand new state-of-the-art TV or laptop, Currys are bound to have the ideal product for you. Stocking all the major names in electronics and appliances including Apple, Samsung, Bosch and Miele, Currys have been providing the British public with all their electronic needs for over a century.

If the time has come for you to purchase a new appliance for your home, or perhaps you want to treat yourself to a brand new phone, the Currys website makes it clear and easy for you to place your order. Once you’ve made your purchase, there are a number of delivery options Currys provides, meaning there’s no need for you to leave your home. In fact, you can expect to have your new product delivered to your door within a matter of days, or even quicker depending on which delivery option you choose.

There is also a fairly straightforward Currys returns policy in place, so if for any reason your appliance or device isn’t working properly, Currys have a set of simple instructions to follow in order to secure yourself a refund. So, whether you’re looking for information on how best to return your item, or you simply want to track the delivery of your parcel, we have all the information you require.

The Currys returns policy for online orders has been outlined in full by the company and offers all of the details you need to know on how best to return an item in order to receive a refund. For unwanted products, you are eligible to receive a full refund as long as the item is returned within 21 days of the delivery date. It’s worth noting however, that the items must still be in their original packaging and be unopened. Currys returns have made this policy available company wide and it applies to all purchases, whether they are made online, over the phone or in store. For items which have been paid for using PayPal, the Currys parcel returns team will only be able to offer you an exchange or a gift voucher.

For online and phone orders, there is an additional Currys parcel returns policy which allows you to return unwanted items that have been opened. As long as you have opened the item for inspection purposes only, you are entitled to receive a full refund, but you have to let the Currys returns team know within 14 calendar days from the day after your delivery has been completed. To make sure you don’t invalidate your refund entitlement, you must ensure you only examine the goods as you would if you were in a shop. A full refund will only be given to you if you don’t begin to use the item. If you’re planning on returning a computer, you are not allowed to install any software on the item or input any data. It’s important to remember that the goods will have to be returned in ‘as new’ condition, and that means ensuring they are in their original packaging.

If you purchase a faulty product, you can return the item within 30 days of the delivery date in order to exchange it or receive a refund. Smaller items can be returned to store, however, if you have a larger item, you can contact Currys who will arrange to pick the item up. If your item is still within its guarantee period (usually 12 months from the purchase of delivery date), you will be able to take advantage of the company’s full repair service. Currys do reserve the right to thoroughly inspect the product in order to verify the fault, however, so if they believe the fault is down to an accident, wear and tear, misuse or neglect, you will not qualify for the repair.

    Return Your Currys Parcel

For Currys parcel returns, you have a few options. Firstly, if you have a store close to you and the item isn’t too heavy, you can return your parcel to a Currys PC World store. Even if you have made the purchase online, staff will be able to process your refund as long as you have proof of purchase. This can be in the form of your order confirmation email or a bank statement. If you made your purchase online with PayPal however, your exchange cannot be processed in store. Remember, all purchases made with PayPal will only qualify for an exchange or a gift card rather than a full refund.

For Currys returns where returning the item to the store is inconvenient or even impossible, the company have a phone number you can ring. Simply dial 0344 561 1234 to speak to a member of the Knowhow team. They will be able to arrange for your item to be collected for free and make arrangements for your refund or exchange. In order to avoid any unnecessary delays whilst on the phone, it’s recommended that you have your order number ready before making the call. Alternatively, free product collection and refunds can be arranged via email. The address to send your request to is [email protected].

    Currys Couriers

Currys use a range of couriers to carry out all of their deliveries and they offer different options and delivery prices in order to make delivery of your item as convenient as possible. Deliveries are made every day of the week and options such as next day delivery, free delivery and even same day delivery for London addresses are available. You can even arrange for your item to be delivered within a set time period.

One thing to bear in mind with Currys deliveries is that large and small items are delivered completely separately. That means that if you place an order that contains both large and small items, you will be required to select a delivery option for each of your items. Small items include everything from TVs under 39″ to kettles, microwaves and computers and laptops. For the full list of small items, you can consult the Currys website.

Standard delivery for small items is free and will ensure your item is delivered to your door within five working days. There are two delivery slots available with standard delivery: the first is weekdays between 8am-5pm, the second is Saturdays between 8am-12pm. Next day and same day (London addresses only) is available for £3.95, whereas timeslot delivery, which enables you to choose a specific time during the day for your items to be delivered, costs £9.95.

For large parcels, delivery is a little more complex. You can still get free standard delivery, but your order may arrive anytime between 7am-8pm on a weekday or a Sunday. Saturday delivery is available from £4.99, once again, however, your items will arrive between 7am-8pm. Next day delivery is also an option Currys provide for larger items and is available from £9.99. If you want a more specific delivery time, you will have to choose the time slot option. Time slots are available every day of the week and start from £19.99 for a weekday slot.

    Tracking Your Currys Order

If you have ordered a smaller item, you will be able to track your parcel via the link in your order confirmation email. Usually smaller items are carried out by a courier on behalf of Currys, and the link will take you to the courier’s website. For all ‘flexible delivery’ items, you will be able to both track the order and you will receive a text detailing the estimated delivery time on the delivery day.

For larger items, you can track your parcel with the Currys Team Knowhow Track It service. In order to track the order, you will need the reference number, which can be located in the order confirmation email you received at the time of purchase, as well as your telephone number and postcode.
